When I was your age
AcKnowledged
I knew two birthday's
Jo Ann's and Patty's
They were the pretfyest
girls in the Catholic
Grammar School
They did not forget
Jo Ann's Dad was a Baker
was a dealer
And Patty's dad tomatoes
Back in the day; both of their
families were worth more than
a million dollars
Of course they were Italian,
well, Patty had half Irish in her
They sent my home a birthday card
until I was thirty five years old
Even when they knew
I wasn't there
