They acknowledged him along the line as he headed for across the street to the wine. He found a Portuguese brand in the wooden discount box, and back at Olivia's was soon putting a big meat type paper wrapped package on top of the wine in his brown paper bag. The frenchfries smelled of pleasure; and as he lowered them into his bag he enjoyed gett-- ing a good deal from the stain of butter already coming through wax on the inside of the paper.
