Animal turns from cosmic freedom toward Maui, black-ball lava, and an image-stream that tries to give form to what he has seen.

The page bridges vision and return. Freedom and star-structure open into the black ball, lava, Maui, and a film-like procession of images through the brain. The repeated concern with form suggests that the journey matters because it must become something graspable in Animal's mind and body.
