Her message sees him walking in the distance. She spots a steady walk, but now and again notices what appears to be a leaping state in his stride. Setting countenance to a swan pose, she takes a thrill out of her body and paralyzes its wave lengths down through the links to a connected stillness. She plans on passing by with her fingers just slightly upraised. So she sits in the last of the carts gazing out, like the sil- houette of drawing into the just felled night. The girls glance at him in their going by. No swoon, just movement as shapes in a motorcycle breeze. He blinks, and then lays his head back with a smile. Quickly he looks up at the stars, brooming numb with possibilities. A state of mind and nerve ending, sort of fit for prayer. Kissing sweet, and closer than the universe. He adjusts the arrangement of his steps
