He decided to turn his direction, and walk North. Dressing up he came to Hamburger Square, and could see its changes switching as buildings stroked as people. (A glass of beer,) which would turn, turn, turn, finally Burn out somewhat losing itself to the electric dark. The Irish pub better glasses than Hamand's. The sky was yellow on the horizon, blue still, straight up. The clouds were the opposite of silk, but could move when there was wind. The ocean wasn't filthy, but it wasn't blue, and it wasn't green. He continued along. Some clouds passed East toward the islands, and some passed East toward the desert. People. Sitting and squating; moving their feet with their hands in their pockets, or mov- ing their hands with their feet standing still. People doing things to survive; people not do- ing things? Laughing with; fading from. Tired faces afraid; worn faces of ready youth. By- cycles and long hair. People grinning comfortable in their costumes. No business suits. He thought of something. Stop- ed walking, noticed a place on a bench, and went over and sat down. Situated, he reached into his brown paper bag pulling out to large ruby rings. Neatly he placed one on each of his far fingers.
