Freddy... THE F.B.I. Agent And I Going down to the Minister to return our stolen pumpkins Mid Pumpkin the toughest is what I am waiting for. He is my only fear. The return of the orange squash will bring laughter. I have seen the Minister before, though we have not spoken, he is kindly. We continue on. It is fall, the east and trees. There is red and yellow waving in the air. The wind is not stiff, but you would like it to blow harder. The ministers home has curves of brick with a base of stone at each angle. He meets us in a courtyard, which is a work shed garage, which is real as I turned my eyes. King Pumpkin might be near.

The page mixes comedy and suspense as a pumpkin-return errand becomes a small quest full of fear, weather, and eccentric ceremony.

Its charm comes from the collision of the absurd and the serious. `THE F.B.I. Agent And I` sounds grandiose, but the mission is to return stolen pumpkins, and the speaker still has a real sense of dread about meeting the Minister. The result is a comic pastoral with just enough menace to keep it strange.

`Freddy... THE F.B.I. Agent And I` — the speaker and Freddy walk the stolen pumpkins back to the Minister. `Mid Pumpkin` and `King Pumpkin` are the anxieties. A Halloween-confession scene played as domestic Americana.
