There is a phone call. It is
doctor Kennedy. The father of
one of the smaller youngsters
from the first scene. Though
it is quite late in the morning
night, Jack's parents simply tell
their somewhat haggard son
to answer the phone downstairs.
Abruptly the scene is of Jack
and the doctor, walking into the
neighborhood police station.
"You asshole" shouts a
stout blond German boy,
"We lied through our teeth
for you!"
The doctor immediately calls
a conference with the police
