`Appalooza` reads like a label, chant, or event marker set against the more intimate lines below it. Because the scan combines orientations and note layers, the page feels less like a finished poem than like a scrap from a working notebook. Even so, the pressure in the repeated whisper fragment remains the strongest element.

A second pass at the prior three lines, now captioned Appaloosa. The title turns it from erotic fragment into the note of a horse.
